Kawhi leaving you are right the Spurs lose for sure... but it isn't binary. I'd much rather have some young promising players or picks than jack**** to kick off rebuilding.
And why the hell would you want Kawhi poisoning the well in the organization for a season? That's like the opposite of what has made that organization successful for the last 25 years.
