That was one of the more emotional games I've seen.
Really proud of the team for gutting out at least one win this series. I thought they were going to be toast in the 4th.

There was a major dust storm in my living room. My wife came in and said "why are they trying to win a game? Just get the season over with." She doesn't get it.
Everybody seemed to play well today. 5 Spurs in double figures. Really glad we aren't ending it with a sweep this year. Guys let them get close but then pulled away again. Nice win!
I was standing up watching in the kitchen and when Manu hit thay crazy Manu shot to put them up 10 and watch him let out all his emotion I lost it. I couldn't help it. I feel like he wanted it so bad for Coach Pop, the team and us the fans. It was amazing

Don't overlook Gay either, he's not putting up huge numbers but he's playing a lot of minutes and working hard out there. The Spurs need someone who can go get a bucket and match up physically.

Kawhi's sister posted on his fan page that the reason he's sitting out is to rehab to 100%. If you read it, It sort of confirms the idea he got scared when it got reinjured 9 games back. Says he still wants to stay in SA. Could be complete BS and the family trying to save face. Hopefully it's closer to the truth than anything else.
That seems more plausible than the unsubstantiated rumors with no verifiable sources claiming he wants out.
When I was searching Twitter for news about the mom I saw a similar report. This report said he was rehabbing in New York and needed to be there full time with his doctor. It cited erring on the side of caution and not that he was unhappy in any way with anything other than the Spurs medical staff. Hopefully this is the case.
I don't understand the rush to hate Kawhi. This story has been super strange from the get go, and everyone is operating off incomplete information at best and mostly just speculation. Perhaps he quit on the team, perhaps he is hurt, perhaps he hates San Antonio, perhaps he just is just figuring stuff out.
I will let the season and off season play out, as frustrating as they have been. Would love to have him back next year in the silver and black.
