Because we still don't have a PG or anyone that can facilitate on the offense. Murray isn't the answer. He could be a solid 2 if he could develop a shot, but I doubt he ever is able to really be a solid creator for other players.
So your doubting the spurs coaching and development with Murray yet you think a player with 1/2 the talent in walker will be abLe to contribute
Bias much?
Unlike you, I haven't made my mind up yet on Walker based on two summer league games.
Let me guess, you thought Glen Rice, Jr was going to be amazing and Draymond Green would be out of the league based on summer league.
Lonnie has a couple years to work on his shot before we really know what we have. But as a raw athlete, he has the physical tools to be good. 6'5 with 6'10 wingspan and 40" max vertical at the NBA combine.
Dejounte hopefully takes a step forward, but while he is a great defender and rebounder, he hasn't shown an ability to consistently run the offense. Because of that, I think he is probably better off playing wing if he can develop a shot. This year we find out what he is made of. But his .265 from three last year was atrocious.
