I'm hoping we can send them Patty and his awful contract. I don't see any way that we don't get OG Anunoby from Toronto, and I like his upside. Long arms with some serious defensive potential, shot 37% from (45 from the corner), and his numbers got better in the playoffs.
If we got Pau off the books and kept Danny, then that's a pretty significant win. If we also got OG and some other young guys/picks, holy eff.
Patty in his actual role isn't terrible. Patty in the role he filled last year absolutely is terrible. And with some new guys coming in, no Parker, and possibly no Manu, I think Patty in the locker-room is vital this season.West Texan said:

The lakers could contend with that lineup with their hodgepodge of nonshooters they signed, but yeah I don't think you can start Gay and Murray next to LMA and Derozan.

Pau's contract can be stretched and won't cost us much next year. Patty still costs us a lot of money for another 3 years. I love Patty, but his contract needs to be unloaded to help create space for next offseason.
Pau's contract isn't that bad anymore. If we waive him after the season, he costs $2.2mm on the cap.

One report says this is what Toronto offered. Whether it's what SA receives is another story:

Ibaka would certainly fit in on the court as a big that can space the floor, but he's owed $20 million each of the next three years. Don't love that contract.

This in no way helps the Spurs Who now have three untradable contracts and at best a crappy 20 something pick next year
