Quick update, Gasol is terrible still. He can't get a rebound at 7'2

We haven't been able to make a jumper to save our lives. Warriors on the other hand keep making it rain. Highlight of the game was Bertans almost going at Green. So sad.
My Lakers friend thinks they're going to trade Kuzma and Randall for Leonard.

The spurs will get better offers than that. There are going to be lots of teams competing for Kawhi.

Even if he came back and was 100%, this team still has too many holes. But he probably ain't back. And the Spurs will get peanuts for him.

I don't think the Spurs will be offered Peanuts for him. I think there are a few teams like the Clippers that will do whatever it takes to get a franchise player, even if it's not a guarantee that he'll be back to his original form.

Serious? Aldridge was doubled on the catch aggressively. He never had a chance and is still a leading scorer.
Mills got exposed again. He's an energy bench guy and nothing more. Murrays lack of shooting cripples the offense. And against the Warriors you need to score a lot because they employ one of the greatest offensive machines in NBA history.
I don't agree that this is a total rebuild though. If Leonard returns and Gay stays this team is very good. Add one good shooter or see huge improvement from Murray and you are looking at a contender again.
Hoping for a better performance tonight, but oh well. Maybe it's best for this to be over quickly. Huge offseason coming up.

99mm committed. 28 of that is Mills and Gasol's untradable deals. Gay probably declines his option, Green probably takes his. There's currently no (real) point guard under contract next year.
There are still things that can be done, but it's going to take some magic.

Aldridge also missed easy layups that turned into transition opportunities. Got outhustled on the glass. Dribbled into the double instead of passing out of it multiple times. He's so bad at dealing with double teams.
