Lots of great stuff going on overall.

Not seeing much on the list for College Station Midtown. Overall a bit disappointing so far. Think they could have done some really cool homes there. Instead, slapping em up. Any rumors there on development?

The owner said it was temporary. They'll be moving back to their previous location.

If Beaver Aplin is to be believed, that Buccees rumor can come off the Board. Their business model is to focus on interstate highway locations, and B/CS doesn't fit the model. I heard that first hand.

Correct, it's all about traffic count. Both Highway 71 and 290 are pretty busy corridors, about 50k a day as per numbers a few years ago (for Highway 71) and another 30k in the combined 95/21 corridor. Highway 6 is 70k a day in parts south of Texas Avenue.

290 is pretty busy, that should be a given.

But where does the "no, the Highway 6 location won't be a Buc-ee's, just 'Buc-ee's like'" rumor come from? The only one remotely similar to Buc-ee's in terms of size and popularity is QuikTrip, and I've heard nothing from then in this part of Texas, most of their stuff is near the Austin corridor save for a Conroe location opening this month.
