Nice, Leo's or Avila's are great Mexican places as well as L&Js. Great steakhouse is Cattleman's Steakhouse at Indian Cliffs ranch in fabens is about an hour out of town but some of the best dining in the region

Cattleman's is worth the drive! I love that place. Also Delicious Mexican eatery has kick ass Gorditas! We get them every time we visit El Paso.

I'm probably done with Destiny, fell too far behind and really haven't had an urge to play it or anything for that matter. I've been waking up at 4:25am to exercise before work, so I'm beat by the time we get the kids into bed.
Cant speak for the urge to play but everyone is being brought up to 750 for Shadowkeep. So being behind isn't an issue

My (AggieBones) absence is a combination of moving to PC and being flooded with a bunch of other games that I want to play.

I'm consumed by fallout 4 again. I did an institute and a BoS playthrough but never did a railroad playthrough so I'm doing that. Along the way it will get me the platinum trophy so that's a nice bonus. I will be going hard for shadowkeep though.
Comp grind sucks.

If you have a fully upgraded chalice you should get the Izanagi's Burden catalyst which sounds like it may be around the top of dps weapons come the Shadowkeep changes.

I hate that I can identify with pretty much every one of these things the guy talks about:
I kinda can't stand Crucible or Iron Banner. I'm okay with Gambit though.
New(ish) bug with Jotunn. If you damage your self and the enemy you do like 5 times the normal damage to the enemy. So just shoot it at point-blank range and you should do a ton of damage.

So yeah been probably over a year since I've thought much about this game that was a previous addiction. After getting a PC I pretty much replaced most of my gaming time with Rocket League. That's likely not changing, but Arman and I have been talking about getting back into Destiny and the cross save feature appears to make that pretty convenient for bouncing around. So do y'all have any video recommendations while I scour YouTube to get brought up to speed? Evade had a pretty good one explaining the new stuff from a couple of months ago. I'll keep looking over the night and next few days.
I'm pretty excited to try and get back, though I know I've got a ways to go in the skill and weapons departments. I see that if you get Shadowkeep you get brought up to 750 so that's cool. Are clans still a thing in the cross save era?
I ran around the tower for a bit and it brought back a lot of good memories.

I would assume if you find videos detailing the upcoming changes from one youtuber, then there's not going to be much difference in information from any of the others. The Bungie vidocs are good to watch!
