Just a little FYI for the raid tomorrow:

Dataminers have confirmed that 520 is the MINIMUM REQUIRED light level just to queue up the raid.

It is theorized that 550 will be the RECOMMENDED light level.

So I was running Gambit last night and got a friend request from a kid trying to get his hand cannon kills for the Ace quest. We let each other kill one another and finished that part in 45 minutes.

That's awesome. I'll need to do that with my 25 precision shots soon; half done with the strike kills.

Isn't there a way to cheese the strike kills? Might make it faster.

The best way I've seen to do it is get a fireteam, and then have the other two leave. You get much of the strike to yourself until the game adds to it for you.

Also, tried Gambit for the first time yesterday with a buddy, waiting to do it with 3 other clanmates soon. It's so much fun, only gripe is obviously lack of teamwork and communication when you go in with less than a fireteam of 4. Please don't EVERYONE wait till you get 15 motes. The other team will always invade and wipe 2 guys off the map before that

Apparently the higher level enemies are caused by ****ing up the mechanic and is the equivalent of a death mechanic at lower levels

520 to enter but opening encounter has 550 (with 560 enemies and a **** You 580 if you mess up a mechanic).

Also first boss gets you your third seed of light

I'll be on tonight. It'll be a bit before I can get up to the light level needed. I do want to run it as a blind raid, though! Please, keep that in mind for those posting on the thread. Appreciate the spoiler tags and such for those that have been using them! For some of us, a blind raid is one of the best things about Destiny and the community that has stuck with it! Enjoying the changes thus far!!

holy hell, we are going on 13 hours. Earliest team to get to the raid boss was 4-5 hours in.No one can seem to get the final kill
