Having to kill the roaming captain for the Gofannon forge unlock is the absolute worst. In addition to dealing with the bug where he disappears instantly and having buttwipe randos kill him before you can get a shot in, sometimes the quest won't update if you weren't the one to kill him, even if you did a large portion of damage.

I guess I got lucky my first time with my main. I've been on nessus for over an hour tonight trying to get this done for an alt. Thanks Bungie.

Reset your PS4 clock to a couple days ago and it'll just be you in that instance. Kill the captain and put your PS4 back to current time. Should not have to do crap like that to make up for bungies design flaws. Also the insight terminus part of the quest is ridiculous (trying to function like the D1 nightfalls) if you're trying to solo it.

Agreed that we shouldn't have to do that, but the clock thing is a great workaround. I'll try that. Thanks!

Looks like there is some kind of puzzle that has to be solved in order to open Niobe labs. Once it is open and completed, the final forge will be available.

I did have a chance to complete it this weekend. It was an interesting raid, but a good run on the final boss could be ****ed up bu bad positioning from the boss. Mechanically not terrible but easy to get ****ed up by adds

I did get the curated threat level

Looks like Bungie changed the Nightfall playlist this week to include The Corrupted.

Anyone interested in farming that NF this week? The pulse rifle from the NF is required for the Cursebreaker title.

I think I'll wait for reviews and a short amount of time to see what the end game content looks like. It looked too much like Mass Effect Andromeda.
