I don't even like sniper rifles, but I think I'm going to get Icebreaker because sniping from max range is a very useful tactic in Nightfall. Rengerating ammo also answers another issue common to high level content.

It nullifies juggler because if you let it regenerate fully, when you switch back to a fusion rifle or shotgun, you will have 60% of your max ammo on it. Also it never technically reloads. That is insane.

Yeah I went ahead and bought the icebreaker from that strange coin dude. Traveling to college station for the game so I won't be on this weekend, but hopefully we can finish VOG before Tuesday.

Unlimited ammo, while slow to regen is pretty awesome for soloing missions.

I did VoG with a bunch of fellow first-timers. We all went in blind.

It took us about 4 hours, but we got in and got past Templar, which netted us two chests and a loot drop. I got 2 pairs of the gloves and some shards.

I also bought Icebreaker and Shadow Price (legendary auto-rifle) tonight. Great evening of Destiny!

Yeah, Icebreaker is crazy good. The recoil is pretty significant, but the no loading, ammo regeneration is outstanding.

Just two manned the nightfall being only level 27.

I need to finding a raiding group!

I would recommend playing all the way through the story as you level, because it gives very useful Vanguard rep and you're not going to want to play level 7 missions when you're 20.

I say this because, like you, I did a lot of leveling in the Crucible. And I had fun! But I should have done the missions.
