fwiw- weapon drops are still pre patch (Max Attk 300). Base attk for DLC weapons is 302.

I'm still doing VoG for shards shards shards

Radiant Materials are used for new RAID drops. All other legendaries still take Ascendant Materials.

I did it the other day and got the gjallarhorn. Just needed an exotic shard and was good to go. So it could be a good thing!

This is the best possible result. I would probably tell people to only run VoG if they've already used up all their Crota's Ends, Nightfalls, and Weeklies for the week. Personally, I look forward to returning to VoG someday soon just for grins.

They should have at least let 331 Exotics drop in VoG, to keep it more relevant. The name of the game in MMOs, or MMO-lites even, is to have plenty of content. Almost completely obsoleting VoG was a bad decision, imho.

You def. want to be running Crotas end if you are already 31 (yes, you can do it at 30, but its easier at 31).

If you need the shards, do the VoG. Easiest way to get alot of shards. I still run it for the shards as im sure they will be needed to upgrade the next round of vanguard stuff for House of Wolves. Its fun breezing through hard mode with a 31+ team. 4 manned gatekeeprs and atheon.

Offically 32 on my hunter. gear for 32 on my warlock. One piece away from my titan.

I had two g-horns drop in 20 min today, bringing my total to 4. (Effing 4). Hawkmoon still elludes me.

I see alot of you guys are 30 and 31 now to bring this up again...

Anybody want to go for a FLAWLESS RAID on normal vault of glass?

My best is a lvl 29 hunter. I did the VoG once today on normal and got Atheon's Epilogue. I'm not sure if I can claim killing Atheon because before it happened, I was blind and fell to my death. My party killed A while I was waiting to revive. I also got Chatterwhite again and the chest armor for hunters.

I just realized my PSN went out over the break. I don't feel comfortable putting my credit card on Sony's network with all the hacks, so I need to wait for another day to buy one of the network cards at Bestbuy or Gamestop.
