Just throwing fuel on the fire... this team was pretty much 100% healthy for the playoffs which is so hard to do. Gallup is the only significant loss that I can think of and his replacement was actually one of our bright spots down the stretch.

What a waste of good health and what a waste of possibly the best defensive coordinator in the modern NFL.

Mike, Kellen, and the rest of the offensive staff let down the entire team. We had, in some ways, historic levels of success on defense and on special teams.... and the offense absolutely rolled over and died. Denver showed the NFL how to stop us and there were zero adjustments made by the coaching staff in over 2 months. Pathetic!

The FO mistakenly believed that they could cover up the interior OL issues with talent elsewhere, and that just never works at the highest levels.

The 49ers stunted the hell out of us yesterday and got pressured up the middle all day. Dak had to bail out almost every time he threw the ball.

PS: I feel Jerry is very much justified to fire McCarthy along with most/all of the offensive staff after a 12-5 season. It's not about losing a playoff game, it's the way we lost the game. Was possibly the single worst playoff performance I've ever seen... and that's amazing considering I'm also thinking about the Quincy Carter led team that made the playoffs with an 8-8 record.

In 2 years time under Mike we've seen the Cowboys look dominant 25% of the time, holding on for dear life in 50/50 games 25% of the time, and looking like absolute dog crap 50% of the time.

I don't subscribe so I can't read all of this, but the implication here is that Dak still has more ceiling and it's Moore holding him back...

McCarthy is an offensive coach who called his own plays in GB. He'd be doing that here if he wanted to. Moore's situation is McCarthy's own doing. Nolan was all McCarthy and a total disaster

The 1998 game against Arizona, the 1999 game against Minnesota and the 2003 game in Carolina were all way worse than this. I'd argue the worst of the bunch was the 2006 game in Seattle, as they were missing their entire starting secondary and started tow guys off the street they signed that week and we couldn't do much offensively.

I know that Martin was named All Pro again but it definitely seemed that he was starting to struggle more. Was that due to age and or due to him having to worry to much about helping his right and left…..we need to answer that. Tyron just isn't dependable enough to be your franchise left tackle anymore.

With all that said, the most frustrating thing to me was the inability to get a quick passing game going. The line can't hold up for 7 step drops and reads but the only quick passes we ran were WR screen types. The 9ers used some great quick slants and hitches to get the ball out quickly and we never run those to Cooper or CeeDee.

The most entertaining part of the game was a fight early on in the section below us where 3 drunk Niners fans beat the absolute dog out of a really drunk guy in a Chargers jersey. Then all three Niners vatos got kicked out along with the deliriously drunk Chargers fan sans jersey. Nothing like watching a beaten-half-to-death drunk dude with no shirt on get escorted out against his will by security. Just some wholesome NFL family entertainment.

I haven't said much since the loss... but here's one thing that just baffles the hell out of me. On the front page of their website it was revealed that Zeke played through a partially torn PCL. Respect to the man, but answer me this coaching staff:

Zeke: 12 carries
Pollard: 4 carries

Why in the heck are you giving 3 times more carries to your injured RB!?!? And don't tell me you were trying to limit Pollard because of the foot, if he's returning kick-offs you aren't limiting him. It makes no sense.
Why? Because if Pollard is the no. 1 RB, Jerry would be eating crow with his contract.
Jerry will never ever admit to a mistake - even at the expense to the team and even when it's totally obvious that Pollard is better. Cowboys will eventually lose Pollard and he will be excellent for another team.

Another thing that (IMO) hurt the Cowboys was Parsons early injury when he got his bell rung when pushed from behind and into another player. He left the game and came back in, but was not the dominating player he really is.

To be fair, the 49ers lost Bosa in a similar kind of play, but he left the game.

Yep - I listened to some of the game and radio said that Parsons had sort of gone quiet after he had his bell rung. On the other hand, SF didn't even need Bosa as they still whipped the Cowboy OL without him.

. Other than being a terrific blocker I can't understand Zeke on the field after seeing Pollard all season. Has to be the blocking??? So much of what the cowboys did all season made no sense. Coaching has really tarnished what should have been an elite team.

Is that a fact? It seems Moore is Jerry's golden boy and forced upon McCarthy? Or is that inaccurate?

In fairness, it's not just the Cowboys that have been propping up Moore. He's gotten a hell of a lot of play around the league. I don't think he's earned it...funny enough, I actually think Dak has made Moore look better than what he is.

Denver is interviewing Quinn and Moore tomorrow.

We will never know the facts, but I think McCarthy truly saw Moore as a rising talent where they could compliment each other. And I'm extremely confident that if McCarthy wanted to call the plays, he'd be calling the plays. Jerry isnt dictating playcalling duty. That tells me McCarthy was totally on board with Moore

JJ thinks Moore could be the next McVay/LaFluer/Shanahan/insert young HC name here. He sees other teams doing it so he thinks he has to and doesn't want to let him go. He did the same thing with garrett when Phillips was hired.

Yep. As I said before I think half the reason Moore is on staff is that he can't give up on wanting the former player turned offensive genius storyline to work out. It's pathetic, but not surprising

Well if he watches the sports networks all the talking heads think Moore is the next wunderkind too.

That being said, I think Moore is here more because of his relationship with Dak. We all know the QB really calls the shots on these matters.

The problem with this is McVay / LaFleur / Shanahan >>>>> Moore.

They have proven to be talented and very legit at what they do. Just because Moore is young and has shown glimpses of potential, doesn't mean you should treat him like he's already at the level of McVay / LaFleur / Shanahan. Not only this, but Moore learned pretty much all he knows from a FAILURE at OC and HC in Jason Garrett. Yet Jones wants to act like he's the next big thing??? The dude is not thinking straight.

So was at the game yesterday and haven't had a chance to chime in. The attitude this team took on throughout the year against the officials is chicken **** and a loser's mentality. Were there questionable call throughout the year that could have attributed to losses? Absolutely, and we've all *****ed as fans about them. But bottom line is this team is the most undisciplined team in the league. We have a $40M dollar qb now that can't carry the team or overcome adversity, An overpaid rb who now says he was playing with an injured knee getting critical carries over an explosive Pollard, an OL that has some nice pieces but the coaching staff can't seem to find the right mix, and an OC who has zero clue how to make any in game adjustments. The attitude and comments of this team yesterday during the post game press conferences made me sick as a fan.

McCarthy's ass needs to be canned asap, along with the rest of the offensive staff. His leadership is almost as incompetent as his game management. Embarrassing.

The cowboys offense looked way too easy to stop for any semi-competent team. We saw the same **** play out against the cards, chiefs, heck even the raiders and chargers stopped us some.

We won 12 games but were 6-0 against a useless dog turd division. Philly made the playoffs and lost to Brady and the bucs with wide receivers who just came off the street. Philly didn't just lose they got dominated and it was over before half time.

I hope Moore gets poached by another team and sip Williams is gone. Those are the first 2 I want out of here.

The head coach doesn't matter, the organizational arrogance and rot comes from the head down.
