This feels like a really interesting draft for the cowboys as they don't seem to have that huge glaring need someplace. Of course that depends on who's leaving in free agency.
I wonder if you could bundle several picks to move up to mid 1st rd and get someone that you think could really make a difference,

Yeah, don't overthink it. They are in a great spot to just focus on taking the BPA. That is how some of their most impactful players have come to them. Lamb, Parsons. Don't overthink it and just keep taking ballers. There are so many injuries and so much churn in the league that what isn't a need today is a need tomorrow

Is we sign Gregory our Dline will be set for next year.

Losses we are most likely gonna have to replace: Pollard, Gallup, Schultz, Connor Williams. If Quinn leaves I can see Kearse following.

We are probably OK with guys ready to replace Schultz and Connor. Also likely we sign Wilson with Gallup leaving. RB gonna be a big priority in the first few rounds. Need an explosive compliment back to Zeke.

I think this next draft will need to be more offensive heavy:

OL - Williams gone and McGovern shakey
TE - Not sure we can keep Schultz and Jarwin injury prone
RB - Pollard gone and Zeke one more year?

Zeke salary for 2022 is already guaranteed, so he's here for sure. Will be kind of depressing to see Pollard walk while Zeke stays, but they signed up for this the minute they caved on a contract while he still had 2 years on his rookie deal

True.

Also, going to be interesting to see what they do at WR. Gallup is most likely going to get a big deal. Cooper has one more year on his deal. Could go WR early, too. Could look to extend Cooper as he is still pretty young.

Gallup is gone for sure. But Cooper is signed thru 2024. It's at a meaty price tag of $20 mill per, but he's theirs if they want him. Lamb will be up at the same time. So they'll beed to find WR options eventually, but that one's not pressing and trying to do it too soon is just burning controllable years while Cooper/Lamb are still here

What's Wilson's contract situation? He's emerged this year and could take over WR3. Will miss Pollard but can find fresh legs in round 3-4. Definitely need OL help.

Only in a 3 way tie, or in head to head if the teams didn't play each other. A head to head with the Packers would go the cowboys way, with Tampa it goes with the Bucs. We need the jets to hold on if the Rams lose to Baltimore.

Fox just showed AB for Tampa walking off the field, removing his gloves and shirt and throwing it into the stands like the game was over.

I'd of course prefer they both lose, but a Rams win and bucs lose doesn't hurt us. The only thing that would hurt is bucs win and Rams loss.

Cowboys have the tie breaker over the Rams.
