We really need people who bat for average. I know there are new metrics but we need people to get hits and get runners in after getting on base. Mix a bunch of that together with good power guys and its a winning combo. Just feels like the last several years have been wasted treading water

Good. Can't just keep running Santana out there, he's killing us. Let him go face some live pitching off the guys in the alternate camp for a day or two and try go get straightened out.

Really need Calhoun to start doing his thing again. Wonder if they brought him back too soon from the injury. He has hit some balls hard, but usually right at someone.

Frazier is 1 for 11 so far. Hard to believe Greg Bird couldn't do better than that.

I don't think Bird is the answer here, Guzman possibly? But I just looked it up and Bird has a career .211 MLB BA, and most of that was accomplished in 2015. His BA has been under .200 the past three seasons in the MLB.
