Agree. If we can put a competent defense on the field and get some consistency at the plate this isn't a team that goes out easy IMO. Problem with putting a good or competent defense out there is that we don't have very many plus defenders. Gallo in RF, IKF is looking pretty good at 3B. Trevino maybe if they let him play more. At least Trevino made a play to end that disaster of an inning. Choo just needs to pack his glove up for good, DH or bust. Of course Odor reared his ugly head by choking a potential double play ball as well.
Supposedly, one of the rationales I hear on other sites for playing Odor is " he's the best 2nd baseman" we have defensively.
