I know Minor has had issues lately, but we really need our starters to go deeper into some games coming up.

The bullpen will be gassed soon. They've covered a lot of innings over the last week or so.

I appreciate ya brother but this is a lot. Makes it hard for me to read the other comments.

Sorry. Not trying to be a dick. And I'll stand down if I'm in the minority.

I appreciate the effort as well but its too much. Most if us are watching the game.

Montero is a beast.

Hopefully we have him in our bullpen for a long time to come.

Touche

If anyone is ever wanting me to do this and I'm on, just ask. Once upon a time I sat around a radio and listened to every Rangers game while doing homework

I like it, but I can see it being too much. It was nice keeping up with it while the wife was watching something else

Again brother I'm not trying to be an ass. Appreciate what you are doing. But I generally prefer the chat about a game. We are all watching it.

Rangers are in 2nd place again!

It's amazing that we're in 2nd place with a lineup this bad. We have 2-3 black holes who play all the time.

Is it really amazing that we're 7-9?

I mean, I love that our division is mediocre so we may actually be able to be playing for something all year, but the worst team in the league has 6 wins.

Dietrich playing 2nd today. Would have liked to see Elvis get the day off, too, and given Tejeda a game at SS

I think it is amazing. Not in an awe-inducing way though. What is amazing is that the Rangers are in second place and slightly ahead of a slumping Astros team (that we have yet to play) and an Angels team that we swept that has a payroll twice (not really but a lot higher) than ours. We have one fewer loss than Houston. Their bats may come around but their pitching is suspect right now. The Angles are abysmal and I hope they stay that way but don't expect them too.

In reality, this season is an anomaly. In a full 162 game season I would say Houston and LA have time to right the ship. They still have time in this abbreviated version, but not much. They need to turn it around quickly. Unfortunately, the Rangers may be at their high water mark for 2020.

I'll believe the Angels will play up to their roster when I finally see it. I thought the division was all but decided when they landed CJ Wilson and Pujols.

Since then they've made the playoffs once and were swept.

Definitely kills you when you overpay for a superstar of questionable age and a basket case who decides to retire and drive race cars.

In 2012 they had a 32 year old Albert Pujols, Howie Kendrick, Vernon Wells, Mike Trout and Torii Hunter and a staff of CJ Wilson, Jered Weaver, Ervin Santana, Dan Haren and Zack Greinke.

They finished 3rd in the division that year.

So they say ok, we'll go out and get one of the best players in baseball.

Same basic lineup, but swap Torii Hunter for Josh Hamilton.

3rd place again.

I mean, I actually like Mike Scioscia and he's got a World Series under his belt... and he was vocal that he didn't always love the roster makeup. But talk about getting an embarassment of riches and not being able to make it work well together... for almost 10 years.
