this team needs an Astros-like rebuild. Keeping Lynn made zero sense, as this team inst competing for anything any time soon

That is a pathetically bad MLB starting infield. Guzman and Odor are spares, Elvis is an established good MLB player, and every time IKF does something good its impressive because he just feels like a quadruple A guy through and through. Thanks JD!

Ultimately this reeks of a "we don't want to open up the new stadium with a bunch of scrubs, so unless we get absolutely blown away by an offer we're going to roll Lance Lynn, Joey Gallo and Elvis Andrus out there as the 2021 face of the Rangers".

I'm still amazed by the absolute ineptitude of JD and the Ranger brass. Didn't learn a damn thing from not dealing Minor last year. This year? Even WORSE. Lynn had an even higher value, and the Rangers are CLEARLY going nowhere this season.....and probably next. Why not load up on prospects??
