Based on the prior call, that has to be an error on Trout, right?? Out of his glove...
I would think so. The difference is if it is considered routine. I would say his initial movement on the ball caused the miss. I think it is an error but who knows?
I'd call it a hit. Line drive off the edge of the glove is different than a high fly ball the hit the inside of the glove.
As of now, it's a double. But they review them between innings, so it could change

Home plate umpire is doing his first ever game behind the plate. Same guy who had several easy 2nd base calls overturned a few nights ago while he was there.
Emily Jones talking about opacity and continuing to talk about dead people cut outs ( still better than Jim Knox who came across like some coke fiend)

Nice series win/sweep! The Angels played some horrible baseball but maybe we needed that break to get some confidence. If the A's hold their lead we will be ahead of the Asterisks* in the AL West!
Yeah, layering in today's hijinks on top of the Little League stuff we saw earlier this series, the Angels may have just played one of the worst series I've ever seen. Mix in that their new $35 mill toy went hitless in the series. But I'll take it!
The rangers got their ass kicked in the Bay Area (1-5) lost a series to a bad San Francisco team and got swept by a good Oakland team.
I wasn't expecting much in the Bay Area. We always do badly out there. At least we don't have to go there again for the rest of the season. It's behind us, but we still have 7 games with Oakland at home and we need to get a few of those.

The coach stepping out of the dugout before the charge is going to end up getting some attention from the league. Pitcher deserves a suspension too if Kelly deserved one. Clearly intentional

Is there more to the story that led up to him being hit twice in one game? Something happen previously in this series? Either way, I'm fine with lengthy suspensions for both teams
