Yeah, that was some terrible baseball. He was WAY too close to the bag to begin with. 3B is well off the bag, and Calhoun is just standing there flatfooted a few feet off the bag when it's hit. Dumb lazy baseball

I really hope this 3-8 team doesn't waste 10 starts on Kyle Gibson and Jordan Lyles this year. We seem to do this every year. Waste valuable ML innings on someone else's cast aways. There are too many young arms that need work and this wasted season would be perfect for them to take their lumps in the show. Not sure of the health of all of these, but I count: Allard, Palumbo, Jurado, Hernandez, Hearn, Phillips, and Arredondo. I know Brock Burke is on the shelf. I'd even like them to stretch out Brett Martin again.

He's DHing tonight. Tejeda is at 2nd and hopefully stays there the rest of the year. I'd even be for moving Tejeda to SS, Solak to 2nd and let Taveras handle CF if **** keep going the way it's going.
