Well, at pick 30, there are a bunch of teams that wish they had grabbed him. And his time in Cleveland had red flags galore.
He's proven he was worth the second rounder the rockets gave up for him. I'm confident the Mavs could've managed him better than Cleveland did. But hey I guess now we can draft more guys like Tyrell Terry to not play for us next year.


Our entire draft was a joke. And if it wasn't a joke, then Rick is a joke for not playing them. Either way it was a disaster.

Green looks decent when he plays. Which is only when we are up by 30+. I couldn't even tell you what bey and terry look like if I didn't know their faces from draft night. I don't know another coach/team who refuses to play rookies when they aren't a legit contender. It's infuriating.

Yea that's always been Rick's MO. I remember his days in Detroit when they drafted Tayshaun Prince and rick refused to play him...until they made the playoffs and needed some spot minutes b/c of injury and Tayshaun WENT OFF. Prince went on to start every game for the Pistons. Carlisle had that guy just sitting on the bench collecting dust until he was forced to use him.

It's maddening but just gotta hope Green can handle it and stay ready when his chance comes.

Would be nice if the Lakers and/or Trailblazers lost tonight. I'm thinking that 7-3 in the last 10 might be good enough for the 5th seed, but at the very least I think it gets them 6th.

Clippers probably want the mavs again. I hate playing the clippers, it is such a boring matchup.

Terrible troll job.

NBA teams have so many advantages when it comes to hanging on to the talent they drafted. It's hard to imagine the Mavericks screwing up something as important as retaining luka. Unfortunately, it took CBA expert Mark Cuban 10 years to realize this and he wasted 5 years trying to steal talent from other teams while having no talent on his own to entice players to come. What a goofball.
