Hopefully it's the Brunson/Hardaway/Powell show. My 12 year old will be happy to see Boban get some PT.

The good news is De'aaron Fox is in COVID protocol and won't play. He's their best player. I'm not gonna have sympathy for another nba team because near the beginning of the season, the Mavericks had lots of guys in COVID protocol and the rest of the league destroyed us in pretty much every game while 1/3 of our roster couldn't play.

Haven't seen a team play to competition this badly in a while. They need to pound the paint when the ball is cold. THJ is a massive liability when the ball isn't falling.

You can tell when he's going to shoot, defense be damned. Guy has never seen covered 20 footer he didn't like. Only thing to hope is that he catches.

Sacramento lost 9 in a row before they clobbered the mavs in their own building. Then they lost 2 out of the next 3 with 1 of those losses to lowly Minnesota and now they're kicking our ass again.

Houston is the worst team in the league and beat us what every time this year? This is unacceptable for a team with playoff aspirations.

And still aren't going to contend for anything with the current roster in place. KP is a good second option when healthy...which is 50/50 and we don't have a true third option that is really worth a damn. I don't see this core taking the next step unless Luka ascends to some Godlike carry mode like LeBron on the Cavs.

For the life of me I don't know why Bobi doesn't see 8-10 minutes a game. He's 7'4 with soft hands. Yes he's slow and a defensive liability but sit in that zone and give him a chance to wreck havoc on the offensive end. Make the other team adjust to his size, or at least give them something to think about.

The Ticket (Hangzone I think) had an interesting discussion last week. Does Rick Carlisle still have "it"? Last time the Mavs really did anything, Luka wasn't even a teenager.

He's made 113 attempts in the last 10 games. He's made 38 of them. That's 0.336.

Of those 113 attempts, 66 have been from 3. He's made 18 of those. That 0.273.

He's shot 18 FTs in that time, pulled down 22 boards, and made 16 assists.

Here's the funniest thing: He was +10 against Sacramento (4/18), +13 against Detroit (4/21), and +13 against LA (4/22). So in those 3 games, he was a cumulative +36. Including those three games in his last 10, he is a cumulative -56 in the +/- game.

And he's our 3rd best scoring option. Woof.
