I always greatly disliked playing against the backboard type like UT on 5. Just slicing it back over the net on both sides waiting for you to mess up. Really danged frustrating.

That wasn't a pretty finish after a great start, but big kudos to Daria for coming through.

She was the only one to lose the first set and came back to clinch in 3.

I ended up trying to buy one at the box office and they sold out of stadium club seats! Turned out fine as being up high was better for watching courts 3, 4, and 5 which turned out to be pivotal.

Have to give credit to Gianna and Jeanette for their second straight NCAA Tournament doubles win. Daria really struggled in that 3rd set with her serve. Elite 8 for the second straight year!

Got to go to the match and spent most of my time talking to the players! Looks like our intuitions are right regarding the incoming signees.

It was definitely a fun match to be apart of! You can tell Mia and Daria are having their freshmen moments, decision making is questionable. But their fight is unmatched. Mary and Jayci are so determined. Jeanette was a bit of a head scratcher. If her opponent can get in her head, she's in big trouble. But Jeanette played fantastic in doubles today. That point would have ultimately decided the match

Jeanette is a bit one dimensional in her game. She doesn't have a lot of variety. When she's on, good luck. When she's off, she struggles. A lot. The conference finals match she struggled. Today in the 3rd set she struggled. Last year, both losses by the team…couldn't find her game. Wish she could diversify herself some. Jayci had to when she played 4 last year, and she changed to adapt to that level of play and has pretty much dominated.
