For Mia NOT to get Freshman of the Year shows just how much BS there is in saying, "Body of Work". No other fish is recognized more times than she (longevity), no other fish won as many matches as she (production). The fish that did win did play a higher line than Mia (2 as opposed to 3 or 4 for Mia), but then why wouldn't she be recognized as often as Mia? That is just so much horse s**T!! True she stumbled ONE weekend playing back to back to back matches.

Meanwhile, UTA's NIT Tournament will be on Prime video. So maybe we can watch Arky beat up on TCU in the afternoon before the aggies play.

I agree. I think what we saw in Arkansas was all of our freshmen and underclassmen run out of steam. Mia was exhausted. Daria, too. Mireles, same. Tournament weekend is a grind both physically and mentally. We need them all to be physically and mentally on point moving forward. Now we are back to a more reasonable physical strain, but as they march through the NCAAs the mental component will become more of a factor.

Tbh. I think Jayci had a claim for player of the year behind Mary.

Interested to watch what happens with line 3 doubles and lines 5-6 singles as we enter post season.

I don't have a good prediction in early rounds but am hopeful that we get:

#1 UNC
#2 A&M
#3 Georgia
#4 NC State

And then my prediction:

All four teams make the semis. A&M wins the doubles point and then takes round 3 against Georgia 4-2. NC State wins an epic match over UNC 4-3 to take round 3.

A&M vs. NC State for the title. A&M takes doubles once again. Mary uses every sq inch of the court to upset NC State #1 Diana Shnaider on the last court standing.

A&M wins national title 4-3.

And Tech and Baylor are next to each other in the ITA rankings, so they're pretty interchangeable. This was the only actual prjected bracket I could find.

I understand your methodology and know it's not a prediction, but very doubtful that we'd host an SEC team in the 2nd round. They usually adjust the bracket so that teams don't have to travel far and don't play a conference foe too early.

For instance, last year #16 Florida drew #35 Florida State as the number 2 team at their site. Meanwhile, #17 Arizona State went to #2 Oklahoma. (You'd think Florida and Arizona State should have been paired as 16 & 17.) It's impossible to predict what our bracket will look like.

Edit - with that being said, I'll still join in on the fun. I predict we host:
#32 SMU
#37 Tech or #42 Baylor

I like your 2 & 3 seeds. Since they sent Corpus here last year I think they will send them to Austin and send us some super rando like Quinippiac

That UNC stack is straight stupid. If they get away with it, then the fix is it. Based on the latest ITA rankings:
