Aggies take the doubles point. Hell of a win on lines 1 and 2. Jayci and Salma got down a break early but battled back. Mary and Mia just played incredible. Fun team to watch. Up 6-5 on line 3 before it was pulled. Daria is a solid doubles player. Good move to try something different.

I personally think Auburn's best player plays line 2, and I don't think it would be close. She is very very very good. Salma could take her on another day; just not today.

I love Daria playing doubles, I think she over powers her opponents. It led to a very successful singles match. Just fueled the fire!

Jeanette, Mia, and Daria are warriors. Jayci struggled with consistency today. Mary battled for a good win. Ansari has improved greatly over the last two years. She's caught fire and will be an all sec player. It's a huge win for Mary!

I think it's debatable! Ariana beats the people she's supposed to, but struggles against the stronger opponents. Consistency is her game. Ansari has been an underdog her whole career. She caught fire in the fall and it's carried over into the spring. I think you're right, but Ansari is definitely the hotter player and matches up well with the "grindem out" matches at #1.

Her serve is so weak, though. Just need to stand inside the baseline and crush the reruns and put pressure her every time she serves the ball. She hits a mean ball in the rally's but I just don't think it should have been close. Mary was up 5-3 in the first and couldn't close it out. Took her foot off the break a bit.

Salma had 2-3 set points. Just couldn't close it out. Last point is sometimes the hardest to win.

Completely agree, but she knows that isn't her game. She's so athletic and smart. That's her game. Should it have been close, no. But she wins the big points and does well enough to stay in matches. I don't think Auburn has a dominant #1.

Any idea on why their original #1 didn't play this season? Selim? She was an all American and is still on the roster. If they had her playing, Auburn is a top 5 team imo

Just found out it is health related, she had to redshirt.

Daria is gaining confidence quickly! She's learning consistency and how to play the big points. She's going to be potentially be playing #3 next year! I love how aggressive she is, it's fun to watch
