If I were coaching Salma I'd have her hit high heavy topspin to this girls backhand. Pin her in the corner and then open toe court for a short cross court angle.

Agreed. Salma needs to attack her backhand. I've noticed that if you can make Salma move, she struggles. That girl is making drop shot after drop shot, it's working

The women fell off a long while ago. Just went and watched them this past weekend and they aren't even in the same league as the ags. Not sure what caused the fall off. Their facilities are immaculate compared to ours(in my opinion)

I think the Aggies have a couple of things going for them. Great coaches and great recruiting; supportive fanbase; unique culture. But, let's not take a way from connections and these elite athletes want to play with their friends. That's really how we got Salma. (Bc of Carson and Jayci); edited to say I know that's not the only reason Salma came to TAMU. All of that has to continue. I can't imagine how good Mark will he once he has top notch facilities.

Agreed! But I don't know what specially caused their drop off. They have the same coach. Not sure what happened in their recruiting efforts. But I'm not complaining! Can't wait to see what happens what the team gets what they deserve.

This would be huge for the team - especially if they really build with hosting in mind.

It isn't as ideal as having them on campus, but Texas has their indoor courts a good 30-40 minutes away and it is a workable solution.

This has been the most recent plan. Was going to be a tennis/pickleball facility that the team would get dibs on using. I think somewhere near Villa Maria and S College near the old Bryan Muni golf course
