All I know is most of the restaurants I've been to that offer them don't offer them for lunch. It takes something like 5 hours of baking and evidently need to be made daily. So if you want to have them fresh and ready for lunch you've got to fire up the oven around 6 am. I suspect many places don't have people coming in that early so the lunch crew puts the baked potatoes on for the supper crowd.
The point is moot anyway since Kreuz is out of business.
