Good for them! Hard to believe, but some things are more important than revenue. Also, it seems their business is solid enough to withstand a 4-day loss of sales.

Oh, I certainly don't fault them for taking time to be with their families - I wish more businesses did that! I'm just commenting on the fact that they're able to do so is impressive!

Howdy Ags!I am the owner of Row House College Station. We are going in at Rock Prairie and SH 6 between Smoothie King and Jersey Mike's. Some of you may have already seen our sign that went up last Wednesday. We are a fitness studio focused around indoor rowing. We offer a 45-minute, high-intensity, low-impact, full-body workout. Remaining true to the sport of rowing, the majority of the class is done in swing (unison).
We are currently hiring for group instructors (aka Coaches) to lead a minimum of 6 classes per week. We offer paid training, competitive base plus incentive pay, and plenty of room for growth. I have to agree... now multiple threads and mentioning your business all the time is another thing, but when a new business is coming to town, I would think a one-time introduction post here and/or a "when we're opening" status update would be good here. There are other businesses that have done that in the past....

That is actually the one I was thinking of in my earlier post and to be clear I don't think Jersey Mike's has done anything wrong either. Now if they start posting ads and coupons and special offers that is obviously advertising.
