Has Outback closed? Drove by around 9 PM last night and the place was dark. Not like, just closed for the evening dark, but dark inside and out! Not even the outdoor sign was on. Seemed odd to me.

Went today. Diner style layout with newspapers clippings on walls from Bryan Eagle in 1959 when the original one opened in Huntsville.
Food. Burger decent. They high heat the burger to get a char on edges which could lend itself to over cooking meat. Fries are eerily similar to Koppe Bridge. Onion rings not as good as Koppe. Shake was good but we got an Oreo one instead of the vanilla we ordered. Line wasn't bad when we got there but steadily grew. Will go back another time to try it again

Be careful parking in the lot across the street. We watched them tow nonstop the other might at the soft opening. They either have cameras or a lookout because if you park and do not put money in the box the tow truck was there in minutes.

The new Drew's Car Wash at Tower Point opened today. Went by and they have a FastPass lane for the monthly renewals plus their Touchless Car Wash is open 24/7 (and available for the monthly renewals as well).

Talked with the new manager and they were very helpful. Super nice facility.

I feel like that is such a waste of space to have a car wash located there. There is a very similar car wash less than a mile away. Nevertheless, I wish the owner luck and hope it is successful.

I'll be buying their pass. I know the other one is close but I never go that way and I go to HEB almost daily.
