3 runs really feels like 10 with the way our bats have been the last 11 innings.

We haven't even made through the damn order once yet.

I know these guys can break out at any moment and turn it around, and I hope they do, but man this is tough right now to watch.

This team is just laughably bad right now.

13 innings with no runs.

TdA sails one into centerfield on a steal attempt, allowing a runner to get to third. And they score.

Seriously, this playoff schedule needs to be trashed.

No re-seeding, so the reward for the best team in baseball is to get the remaining top seed on enough rest to set their pitching up perfectly.

Between Riley's bomb and Harris' amazing play and situational awareness to get the double play...I can't imagine a better spark plug to get this team going on a tear the rest of the way! I guess Harris really should have thrown to 1B...but hey, it worked out.

Also..D'arnaud's homer couldn't have come at a better time.

On the double play at the end...I love that there were ~3 guys backing up 2nd (including Riley who made the quick throw to first to get Harper) and 2 guys backing up 1st base. Great, fundamental baseball in a crazy situation...definitely a great example to use with the youth ball players in our lives!
