Part of his artificial nature is his instant Cardinals homerism. Harry Caray did Cards radio from 1945 to 1969. Chip was 4 yo during his last year in STL. I can't imagine he has any memories from those days, but he's milked that connection all season.

Olson with a big hit to get the Braves back in it after a shaky start from Kyle Wright. Homerun #49! Braves still trail 4-3, but they got back in it like they always seem to do.
Olson gets to 50, but the Braves cannot overcome the shaky start from Kyle Wright. He did settle down, which is encouraging. Not sure you could expect much more after missing 130+ games, but he has enough time to get it going to be a force come October, which is the larger objective.
