Mets fans are ridiculous. Booing when pitches 6" off the plate aren't called strikes. And right on cue, Bucknor calls the exact same pitch he just called a ball, a strike.

Dansby answered, ending the no-hit bud by putting one in the bleachers after a 2 out walk ended the perfect game bid.

Just want to throw a thought in here. Has nothing to do with the team I'm a fan of. Jacob deGrom, is by far the best pitcher in the league. All of us, Braves fans, Mets fans, baseball fans should enjoy this and hope he stays healthy. He made Riley (who love to hate and hate to love), look like a high schooler. Good luck to the Braves, moving forward except for 7 games.

The double to Pham actually help us out, since we were able to get out of the 9th. Intentional walk to Devers and Bogarts pops out to end inning.

So we will not have to face Devers or Bogarts at the plate in the 10th.

Sadly, Ozuna is up, who has been just awful lately.

Arcia with a big hit to score a run.

Comes up hobbled after trying to stretch it into a double.

He was out and had to be helped off the field. Did not look good.

Acuna leads off 11th with a single, moving Harris to third. He steals second, and then makes an amazing slide into home to score a second run on a Riley single.

9-7 Braves in the 11th.

ETA: Devers just made a huge play at 3rd to save a run. Braves have runners at the corners with two outs, Rosario coming up but Boston making a pitching change.

I was wondering if that's the path they were going to take. He's been killing it at both levels he's played at this year. It's a big jump though.

One thing to keep in mind is that Dansby is a free agent at the end of this season. This gives them a chance to see if Grissom is close to being ready for the shortstop job next year.

Same Phillies are the worst, Philadelphia is the worst. If I could make a Hell on earth I would combine LA with the people from Philadelphia.
