I was mainly watching the Ags and checking in on the Braves today. I didn't see the bullpen meltdown, but looked pretty rough in the box score. Need to get it all out of their system quick.

Any specific reasons they don't let Minter pitch more than one inning at a time? He's been lights out lately!

Didn't wait for the bullpen to have a meltdown inning.

Morton getting destroyed in the 3rd. Gave up another grand slam to Chisom.

This has been a less than ideal road trip after clinching the division. Still plenty of time to get everything right before the playoffs.

Now Eddie takes a 97 mph fastball right on his arm. He is in obvious pain, but wanting to stay in the game.

Braves have bases loaded with a chance to get back in the game.

This season has been a fun ride. This has been an amazing offense.

The MLB team HR record for a season is held by the 2019 Twins with 307. If my math is correct, the 2023 Braves have 299 with 6 games left in the regular season.

What's crazy is it feels like Riley has had a quieter year...yet he is listed in several of those hitting categories!

I noticed those two 'Ol Ags sitting back there while Minter was pitching. I hope he gave them a Gig 'Em on his way off the field!

As a bit of a contrast, the leading Guardians OF in HRs has 5 and if you total up the three guys who have played the OF the most for them this year that total is only 11.

Acuna's accomplishments aside, the biggest wow to me is we have 5 of the top 18 HR hitters in the entire league. That's just jaw dropping.

I am also impressed that we have someone in the top 3 of MLB in almost every offensive category. And we have the #1 in 5 of the categories.

How about this crazy stat...

Take away all of Olson's league leading 53 homeruns this year and the Braves would still lead the MLB in homeruns as a team.
