Apparently, THREE fans made it on the field and one actually pushed Acuna to the ground during the middle of the 7th inning.

He had quite the night…attacked by rogue fans, five RBIs, a homer, a double, and two stolen bases.

The video is out. The security guard was probably who knocked him down. Still took too long for security to get there. Many of the security guys were pretty out of shape, guess not everyone in CO is hiking on the weekends.

Man…Acuna just missed homer #30…
Braves only score 3 on 15 hits, but Morton has a great night and the bullpen was dominant. Braves take the game and the series.

One of my good friends is uncle to catcher Drake Baldwin. Drake played college ball at Missouri State and was drafted in the 3rd round last year by the Braves. I was just told by my friend that Drake was moved up to AA Mississippi from high A Rome yesterday. Seems like a very nice trajectory for someone that is in his first full season in the minors.

Here's how BatteryPower ranks the Braves prospects as of midseason (including 2023 draftees). Looks like they view Drake Baldwin as the 15th best prospect in the system and only catcher in the top 25. Not bad!
