The All-Star game being taken from Atlanta last season, then they didn't put the year on the World Series hat patch (the jerseys didn't even get a patch).

I get the feeling that MLB doesn't appreciate the Braves being a successful team…

Yea, we really need to keep this core together. Having Grissom is nice, but Dansby needs to be our SS for the foreseeable future. Hopefully they can find a role for Grissom.

Braves beat DeGrom and Scherzer on back to back nights to take a one game lead in the East.

Kyle Wright gets win #21. Olson and Dansby go yard again in back to back nights.

Uncle Charlie takes the mound tomorrow, where a win means the Braves control their destiny for the NL East.

Ozuna didn't hear me, but that was a big inning for the Braves. 3 runs to retake the lead and get to the Mets bullpen in the 3rd inning.

Hoping Charlie can settle down and get through at least 5 before we can hand it over to our pen.

My favorite part of the weekend was seeing how the demeanor of the Mets fans changed from Saturday afternoon to Sunday after the game. In the hotel and all throughout the battery, they went from loud and proud to dejected and demoralized.

It was the best medicine for me after the Ags **** the bed on Saturday.

It's hard not to be a little bit nervous. Odorizzi tonight (eek) and Fried tomorrow against Alcantera. The odds still greatly favor Atlanta winning the division, but they need to go ahead and wake up the bats tonight and not leave this lingering tomorrow.

Alcantara is shut down for the year. We will not have to face him.

Just need to get the bats going and we will be fine. I was nervous about a let down after that big, emotional high stakes series with the Mets.

Exactly, an emotional let down was definitely a probability for this first game. However, if we haven't clinched by the end of today (our game + 2 for the Mets), then my b-hole will definitely be clinched tomorrow.
