Sweet!
Newbie question:
What is SPR?
You're about to fall down a really fun rabbit hole.
SPRs, Mk12s, Mk18s, Recce, Mini Recce, Mod-H......
Seriously, the real SPR rabbit hole is a little too deep (money wise) for my pockets. Between parts from KAC, PRI, NightForce, and OPS Inc alone, I'd be at double the cost of my entire build. Haha

Is there any reasoning written behind the regs?

loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
It's a gun control law.
There is no reason whatsoever behind it, just feelings and freedom hating politicians.

Anyone have any recs for a complete heavy barrel (HBAR) upper? I'm moving to Maryland soon (I know, terrible), and want to bring my AR with me, so it needs to be HBAR to be state compliant (from what I understand). Rather than change out the barrel on my current upper I'd rather buy a complete HBAR upper. Plus I feel like now is as good a time as any to try out a different caliber, I've looked at 300 AAC so far, my current upper is 5.56.
Complete HBAR uppers seem few and far between, I've checked out PSA but this is the only one I found that I'm interested in (5.56 HBAR upper), but I'd rather not pay $400 since I just shelled out about $1000 for my current build. Right now I'm leaning towards a 300 AAC blem upper from MAS defense, which would only put me back $225. Any recommendations would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Extremely inaccurate. It's a gimmick.
I've got the Franklins in store, and they've been popular. If aggie_3 sees this, a little of what's in store for Connor's bachelor party... if I don't have a full auto lower put together by then, I'll be dropping one of the franklins into my SBR. I know they are more expensive but they seem to be pretty cool and everyone that I know of that's gotten one so far has loved it.AGricola08 said:
A little over 2 months...... just like anything else. Just have to try and forget about it

One never really 'finishes' a build... at best they pause to continue a build on another lower.
