To be fair the mini alliance was to keep the bigger alliance a secret. If they had said no we don't want an alliance he would have known something was up.

Didn't they basically go back on the plan to evict Kemi because they didn't want to be seen as racist? They glossed over that on the show not that I would expect them to air that. But she's basically blaming the guys for even going there whether it was based on race or not and just leaning on the "a man tried to tell me what to do" excuse, even thought I thought she was completely bought in on that plan, at least initially.

Yep. They were worried about evicting two 'people of color' in the first two weeks. The "I'm not going to let a man run my HoH" story line came as a result of Jack not agreeing with changing plans.
