This part of the orginal statement was just stupid.

Thanks to a certain someone refusing to listen to the experts he has hired and making certain statements about what wearing a mask means as recently as yesterday, ANY statement about masks is unfortunately a political statement. By saying he wasnt making a political controversy, he is drawing attention to the fact that it is a politixal controversy and has defacto chosen a side.

Need the theaters and Tenet to hold steady another week to see if the positives affect the death rate. The spike in Brazos County has almost purely been young people and I suspect it's that way in many areas. We'll see though.

Yeah, it's going to be close. If these trends continue, and the death rate rises, I think everything moves out of the summer, including Tenet.

Man, I remember the 4 screen theater in my hometown. You would have to peel your shoes up from the floor by the end of the movie... Candy, soda, bodily fluids, I'm a little scared to know what remains were on the floors there.
Some would say that part of the ambiance of going to the theater is the stained chairs and sticky floors. Much like how a cast iron skillet doesn't get washed and adds to the flavor of what you cook in it.

I work very close to that theater (well when the office is open at least) and I used to occasionally head over after work for a midweek movie if the show time lined up. That video really makes me sad
This likely means that return/opening dates for the big theater chains will be pushed back as well. With Tenet moving to August 12, Warner Bros. also moved the Inception re-release back to July 31. And now, with Mulan out of July, the last few new July releases will likely push as well, potentially making Inception the de-facto theater return/opening date. We'll see, though.
