Well, rocky changed my mind with that empirical data set. Definitely a perfect sample and representative of the fanbase. It's strange that the hundreds of Aggies I know have never brought this up in conversation.

But if you want to get into that, why do you spend all of your time here bashing me and others who oppose this so-called bevel design on our school logo? If you have the graphic credentials to prove our logo execution is correct, let's see 'em, otherwise STFU. Why don't you get a life?

Texas Aggies is not marekted nearly enough and I believe would have a strong identity and brand value.
I used to think like some of you "what's the big deal about the bevel." Now, that I'm further into understanding Brand Identity-Value, I believe it is a HUGE mistake to use the bevel and more specifically the WAY it's being used.
It weakens the BRAND.
So either fix the frick'n thing or go back to a solid block T. Actually I believe the bevel correctly used and the solid/block T should be the only acceptable logos. The current bevel looks like CRAP. I hate it.

Do you even know what a running tally is? I didn't go back over 43 pages to get a tally. As proponents and opponents post their preference on various threads, I make a note of who is on which side. It doesn't take any real time. Just my curiosity.
And so, posting a picture of a stop sign is all you have as far as graphic credentials? Wow.
Rocky, I really don't care enough to keep rubbing your face in the mud on this one, and no, I don't have any "Graphic Credentials" (although I do have an MBA in Marketing, ahem ahem).
But I do find it incredibly sad that you kept a small piece of paper by your PC, for 10 months, to keep a "running tally" of preferences on the "My Letter to the Leadership" thread. And also incredibly ironic that you think you assert others need to "get a life".

I'm sure that he has run all kinds of standard deviations and other statistical methods to normalize that stuff BA. From the way he describes it, it sounds like a very sophisticated study.
