Has anyone ever been ridiculed by a non-aggie about our logo? No, I doubt that because no one gives a sh*t.
And your personal taste may cause you to hate it, but it's not some monstrosity that is just so bad-looking that it illcits the desire to vomit when people look at it.

My drink just came snorting out of my nose...
I prefer the logo without bevel (but don't hate it), but as a graphic designer, this document has so many holes throughout his arguments that are laughable at best. If a design agency saw this, pages would be plastered up on a wall for all to mock. It could easily be pared down to a few strong statements, and make its point just fine. I wish I had time to help it out at least a little.

To answer you first question, yes. My brother is a t-shirt L$U fan and gives me **** about our fake bevel logo all the time.
He is not an Aggie.

Here's my problem with the pro bevel crowd. You guys ask a question meant to discount the no-bevel position. I answer that question with a valid point and you discount it with some off the wall reason.
Example: the pirate says that no one can prove the bevel is detrimental to TAMU. I point out that I know of at least three people personally that will not buy merchandise with the bevel. Ragnar proceeds to tell me that "well that's just your opinion, man".
Dickwad up here asks if anyone has ever been ridiculed by a Non-Aggie because of the logo. I answer in the affirmative, and that answer is also discounted.
Like the bevel, hate the bevel, I really don't care. But quit moving the bar and admit that you don't really have a position. Some folks don't like the bevel for good reason. They feel strongly about it. Either come with a valid argument or accept the evidence that it is noticed by others and it's not accurate.
Otherwise shut the **** up.
