I don't know why A&M Marketing decided to follow Texas Tech in 1999 and bevel our logo. Beveling was a graphics fad in the mid-1990s and maybe that is why they did it in the first place. Why marketing continues to push the beveled logo on us now is baffling?
- Cheezy bevels don't belong in the SEC
- The Bevel is geometrically incorrect
- The Bevel is unbalanced and confusing
- Classic and simple is best for college logos
- The Block T is on the Texas A&M seal
- The non-beveled aTm has been on the football helmet since 1965
- Most who say that they like the Bevel admit that they actually prefer the Block aTm, don't really care, or don't think it is important. What is the Pro-Bevel crowd really fighting for?

We should bevel our helmets so that we can look more like Texas Southern University. That would be a great idea. The Bevel T is exactly the same. Let's copy TSU because copying Texas Tech isn't bad enough.
