It is very, very funny to me that the wealthiest man in the world, who can have all the finest things money can buy, who can go anywhere he wants in the world any day he chooses, who can have any experience at any time… that guy is terminally online, completely obsessed with Twitter, and wants to be a beloved memelord SO BADLY.
Why does the left hate Elon so much? He's literally plotting to take over Twitter to then leave everyone alone. Surely its not because you only like free speech when it's controlled, limited, and filtered by those who share your agenda.
dude I use Twitter to read silly little jokes, I don't give a **** about the political agenda of current or potential future ownership. I do find Elon Musk's very real Twitter obsession funny.
Well its used by the left and Democrat politicians to push narratives, even if you are not "aware" of it. It also censors anything that goes against the current narrative, even if its true. It's trash
Again, I don't care and it doesn't affect my experience as a user. Posters acting like I have a bee in my bonnet about people being allowed to say stuff I will never see are incorrect. Especially since they at long last let you go back to only seeing posts from accounts you follow, in chronological order, with no curating by Twitter.
I think this is the most important issue facing Americans today. Their worldview and action are selfishly centered on themselves and close family group.
If something doesn't affect them, they don't care what happens. But that is EXACTLY how you lose freedoms.
YOUR speech is not affected by Twitter censorship. But a LOT of other peoples liberty. People need to think not just of themselves but really think about how things the government/private businesses affect more than just themselves.
Twitter banned President Trump from Twitter. Not enough people cared to cause a prolonged issue of it, and Twitter censorship has just gotten worse and worse from there.
Any right/freedom you surrender today, your grandchildren will never know existed.
Rights/Freedoms must be protected or one day, no one will like what the United States has become.
