It's not entirely wrong. It does empower independent journalists. The problem is that Twitter puts their finger on the scale to push those independent journalists, corporate propagandists, and individual twits, that push the same narratives that Twitter employees agree with and possibly even collude with the DNC/establishment. If that finger were removed it could truly be a platform that allows independent journalism to thrive and give an alternative to the agenda driven corporate press that is hopelessly beholden to the establishment.

Also, Elon wanted the code, the brand and the users.

He does not need the employees. They current have 5,500, and he's already said he could run Twitter with 1,500

He could find 1,500 new Twitter employees by Xmas.

Those aren't "perks" that's an all inclusive resort without a beach nor a pool.

Okay, keep a smoothie bar, coffee, tea and soft drinks. Brown bag or order in for lunch. Snacks in vending machines.

If one makes it up to the C-Suites, then executive dining room, booze allowed, etc.

No wonder they needed so many employees, no one actually worked! Elon is right on this one: head count needs to substantially decrease.

The issue he will face initially is that the few key employees (who likely did most of the work) have already found alternative employment. Twitter is left with the undesirable employees who could not easily find other jobs. He will have to replenish the talent.

She didn't invent the job. Shes just taking advantage of it. And if you can work a job like that, why the **** not? Sacrifice our lives for corporations?

Hard work ethic is great, but how does this affect anyone (other than the shareholders)? Are we supposed to see this as evidence of further culture rot?

I'm more shocked that she looked/acted like an ignorant child. What possible role could she have at corporate headquarters where she's attending meetings?
