Put the scope on my first build today. Mainly Anderson components (Upper, Lower, Barrel, BCG, Lower Parts Kit). Took advantage of some of the sales they have going on. Certainly a budget gun but I'll put it to the test this weekend!

Collecting the final parts for putting together a pistol lower - have the lower, lpk, and shockwave brace but still need the buffer tube assembly.

PA has a Radical kit on sale for $30 but I'm a bit leery based on folks' comments on their uppers. Midwest kit is twice the price. Any reason to shy away from lower priced set on a buffer tube? Also saw the KAK buffer tube that's pre-dimpled. Doesn't sound like it's needed but was wondering if anyone had used one.

I passed on the Enhanced Aero Upper last week but I found a 4th of July sale that has an Assembled Aero Precision upper (blemish) with BCG and Charging Handle for $140. From what I can tell that is a really good deal, right?

I have been watching the gundeals reddit hourly for the 4th of July sales.

Picked up the ALG 15" V3 Rail for $82 and the VG6 Gamma for $51.80 shipped to the house.

What would be the difference between an Odin Works 556 for end and a 308 for end? I assume just all together larger? Barrel nut, diameter, etc?

More than good. Just take your time and watch a video or 2. I think from previous threads most people do not torque them. I do only because I already have the tool.

There may be another Aggie build party in the future also. I wish I had a better set up to host.

I've only built one .308, but I used a Fulton Armory Criterion barrel and it was a sub MOA gun.
