This is where the GOP needs to be right now...in the "or" stage. It is clear McCarthy isn't the going to get it. So they need to be polling their caucus with an ~5 choice ballot with names that are not McCarthy. Pick the guy (or gal) who gets the most points on that ballot using #1=5 pts and #5=1 point scoring and you will likely get 100% approval of that choice. Everybody is saying "I would be ok with Jordan" or "I would be ok with Scalise". So why not trot one of them out there for an internal caucus vote and see if anybody says no?Charpie said:
