Had this guy hanging around on our back patio chairs while we were sitting out there talking the other night. He comes to the window pretty much every night to feed on bugs attracted to the light from inside.

knew a guy that ate one right off the tree for $35 so he could afford to go play a domino tourney at the chicken.....yes alcohol was involved and he ended up being my partner......and yes we lost fairly quickly

Tried to go feed some dead menhaden to some spotted gar living in a ditch by my dads house. Ended up feeding two dbws instead. Rockport.

Quite interesting little ecosystem with gar, minnows, perch, crabs, and snakes.

Its a good thought, but that snake is a little too big for a juvenile cottonmouth with too few spots within the stripes IMHO. I'd like to hear what 12f thinks and would defer to his opinion.

It's just a copperhead with a little extra contrast on the bands. I'm assuming from the western extent of their range.

Was asked to post this here... Had a visitor in the dove field this weekend:

South of Falfurrias I heard a rustling in the bush behind me and turned around to see this guy…




No I did not kill him. I fed him a white wing and let him be.

Musta been close to 5' in length and as big as a tennis ball at the middle. Big dude!
