Ran into this guy yesterday while tracking mule deer in Utah. Tried to pick him up but he made this crazy hissing sound at me. Decided to abort that mission and just take some pics of him on the ground. Really cool looking snake. I'm thinking Great Basin gopher snake. Thoughts?
