Most mature plain bellied water snakes have no visible pattern or maybe just some faint, chalky looking likes running perpendicular to their body. Diamondback and broad banded water snakes will typically have clear patterns.aggiesundevil4 said:
Dang it. The water snakes I see around here are super easy to distinguish because the pattern is so clear. That one was so dark I couldn't see the pattern
