The underdog player-of-the-year types that last to mid-rounds always seem to get love. I don't make much of it. I'm not saying total bust, but I really question him meaningfully upgrading much they don't already have when he starts facing NFL OL

Which is funny because ESPN insiders had him at a 6th round rating.
I would have really liked Izzy Abanikanda there. Big production but fairly low miles. Great measurables (41" vert, 4.41, 215 lbs) Strong between tackles. Lots of folks had him top 75-90
I wonder if we're about to see Dwayne McBribe get picked.

Ran a slower 40 than most but he somehow doesn't get caught on the field. Runs with pads low. Elusive but no wasted movement. Can catch balls out of the backfield. Just a great, all around football player. He won't be an all out stud, but he'll stick around the league for a while with a purpose.

He was arguably the most productive back in this class. 2 time all- American. Plays way bigger than his size. I love the pick.
You and I agree on alot of things but you are dead wrong on Overshown. He is a terrific athlete and the player I would compare him with , eventhough they play different positions, is Donovan Wilson. He hits hard and is very fast. Ignore the fact he went to Texas.
Worth a flier. See if we can get him involved in screen game or WR quick hitter routes

That's a good comp. Overshown is a converted safety, that had to play with 3 different D coordinators while at TU. Last year he really started to gel at LB. Really flashed when I watched a few of their games. I think his ceiling is very high.

He was very dynamic in college. I just don't love a 5'5 RB in the NFL, but who knows, maybe he proves me wrong. I dont give a **** that he went to texas. He misses a ton of tackles and gets banged up a lot, so does have downsides too. And I said I was so-so on him. Spare me the lecture like I just trashed him.

At some point your lack of height starts to work for you. I'm not sure it isn't better to be a 5'5" RB than a 5'8" RB. You're still really small at 5'8", but at 5'5" it's easier to hide or slip under tackles and your weight is more compact.
