If you read this thread from start to finish you will learn about retail emotion and how tute ownership goes from 2% to 30% then ultimately 70%.
The geology doesn't change, the contract with ROG hasn't changed. Delays in frontier subsea drilling were probable.
Soon the well will be down and HDY will have logged thru 4 geological zones. Additionally a jv or other type of deal could be released.
The offering puts more sand in the hour glass, everything changes when a hydrocarbon system is discovered.
Time is leverage.
It's actually a very simple concept and investment....certainly nothing to get emotional about.

I agree with 3rd. Nothing has changed except the timing. I've worked on oil rigs during school (summer) and nothing ever went as planned--and that was for shallow water barge rigs!
I get drilling updates on major operators in the gulf daily.
Like I said before shareholder expectations are unlimited and their knowledge on subsea drilling is very limited.

I think this stock will be a bigger bust than it is now. That said, I'm all in. It's the worst investment I have ever made in my life.

Yup if they do hit oil it will turn into a better investment... Its my fault, I should have never bought into the hype.
My personal best investment would be getting into LVS at 6 and some change. I still have 2500 shares. So, I'm sure others have better investment success stories, but that is mine.

The majority of my trades have been LVS, MGM, BYD, WYNN. I know a lot of others have made a ton of money on these same stocks.
As far as HDY, trust me, I hope it hits. All the complaining will be worth it. Its too risky for me though, I made a mistake in jumping in on this one.

I would urge everyone to ignore htown to keep this thread from entering triple digits.
When htown is having a nervous break down buy. Look at the history last time around thanksgiving when I rec'd a buy, he was having a panic attack.
I doubt he will fade away, so you might be able to key off his emotions for buy points lol. He is the poster child for newbie retail emotion.
Last thing this thread needs is more hindsight paper trading phenoms. Post realtime orders or don't post anything.
