Here's the problem with this kind of statement.

Trump had one of the most ideal conservative policies in a long time. His platform was exactly what a Republican President is supposed to be. He as a person, sucks.

So what your post insinuates is people should vote for nice people even if their policy sucks. And that's exactly how we've ended up where we are. Dems run "nice people" with horrible policy so suburban soccer moms can feel good about voting for them. Harris County suffers for it.

So maybe the republicans should have someone with good policies who's not a completely insufferable ******* that alienates others every chance he gets??? I mean goes both ways. It's obvious that people care about the other side of it. So why not realize that instead of just saying something, something mean tweets.

Dan Crenshaw went through a pretty bruising multi-candidate primary where he sold himself as one thing when he ran as a freshman and then did an about-face after he was in office

Hard to lump his initial election to congress as a pick by low information voters.

That would be great. Hopefully that happens soon.

Until then, I'm going to vote on policy. Since i'm voting on government and not who will be my best friend, the policy is all that matters.

If the charge was felon in possession of firearm they would keep the firearm in evidence for the trial.

After the trial gun can be turned over to a non felon in some jurisdictions

From what I understand, they very frequently don't actually pay much of anything.

I think the bail bondsmen typically charge like 1-5% of the bail so these thugs will have somebody hit up a payday loan place to get $1000 bucks to bond out. But when they skip, the courts aren't holding the bondsmen to their payment requirements.

Judges aren't going after bondsman for perps jumping.

There's no teeth to enforcement, so bondsman charge the minimum. If their asses were on the line, the accused would be paying 25% plus. It's a backdoor to what is essentially eliminating cash bail.

We need a complete judge overhaul. Need to get judges in who believe in actually holding the entire system accountable.

But, sadly, I'm not even sure Republican judges will go far enough to do that.

So what did he claim his intent was? He got out and ran up to him and shot him in the head. There's not exactly a lot of gray area in those actions, especially during a routine traffic stop.
